WHO WE ARE

Project Change is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to equipping young Liberians with the skills and resources to drive the nation's economic recovery following more than a decade of civil conflict. We use our biannual Changemakers' Workshop as a gateway to long-term development, randomly selecting participants who become members of our organization and embark on a multi-year personal and professional development journey that prepares them to become reputable leaders. Through their service, our members gain meaningful experience in ethical leadership, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, and several employable skills—preparing them to tackle systemic issues like corruption and economic stagnation.

Our Changemakers' Workshop and Changemakers' Conference are our two primary programs. The workshop educates high school students on the importance of self-sustainability and emphasizes entrepreneurship. The Business Plan Competition provides students a platform to kickstart change in their communities. The conference equips nonprofit youth leaders with vital leadership skills and resources through the National Vision Plan Competition, empowering their organizations to operate more efficiently and creating a ripple effect of positive change to drive Liberia's development.

We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to cultivating a team that reflects the rich diversity of the population we serve. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic partner status, veteran status, medical condition, or mental or physical disability that would prevent the performance of essential job duties without reasonable accommodation.
