THE CHANGEMAKERS CONFERENCE 2020 WILL:
-
Provide leadership training that will give young leaders the confidence they need to lead their organizations.

Assist youth leaders in aligning their vision with rebuilding a "whole" Liberia.

Provide grants, sponsored by JARF, to the top three (3) winning organizations of the National Vision Plan Competition.
-
Grant opportunities for promising organizations to partner with Project Change to endeavor future projects.

CONFERENCE'S REQUIREMENTS/GUIDELINES

The Conference will be a week-long and will commence in February of 2020. More details will be emailed out to those who are selected.

A total of 20 organizations will participate in the conference
-
A maximum of 3 persons per organization, and a minimum of 2
-
ONLY the leader (i.e. CEO, Executive Director, Chairman, etc) of the organization will complete this application for themselves and their team at once.
-
Each member applying or being applied for must have worked/volunteered with the organization for at least one year
-
Fully read all instructions in its entirety
Ms. Baba will be speaking on Sexual Assault/Awareness.

Grace C. Baba is an intellectually curious young lady; she is a fellow of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI). She is the founder and executive director of the Girls of Destiny Purity Organization, an all-girls' initiative which empowers young women through skills and business empowerment programs. She is a senior student at the Adventist University of West Africa, majoring in Public Health.

Ms. Baba has a long term goal of building a training center that will provide girls and young women the opportunity with business and skills training with hopes to foster economic development.
Ms. Sackie will be speaking on Justice/Gender Equality.
​
She is the founder of the Liberian Youth Action Network for Sustainable Development (LYANSUD). LYANSUD is a youth-led nonprofit organization devoted to engaging youth in realizing the SDGs with a key focus on practical issues affecting our society.
​
She has over four years of experience in community development work and has been working effectively to promote gender equality, women’s rights, female leadership, and education in Liberia. As a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, she currently works as a Legal Secretary at the Bropleh & Associates Law Firm.
​
Ms. Sackie views the world as a place full of significant imbalances ranging from wealth, education, climate, healthcare, governance, and even personality disparities. That’s why she is working to bring about a balance in the world where everybody can feel safe and at home.
Mr. Devine will be speaking on Volunteerism/Partnership.
​
He is the founder and Executive Director of Youth for Change Incorporated the official conveyer of the National Debate Championship in Liberia. He is a graduate of the University of Liberia specialized in Sociology and Public Administration, and also has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from the Smythe Institute of Management and Technology.
He is also a Managing Partner of Kreative Mindz Studio (KMS/KMTV), a modern media and recording company in Liberia. He served for three years as Chairman of the Social-Cultural Committee of the University of Liberia Student Union (ULSU) and Five (5) years as Chairman of the Actors Guild-Liberia Movie Union.
Mr. Devine is passionate about breaking discriminatory societal norms that affect women and children and also serves as Project Consultant of the Liberia Shelter for Abused Women and Children (LSAWC).
Dr. Nador will be speaking on Leadership Qualities with highlights on Sustainability.

He is a missional leadership developer, Spiritual Fathering Advocate, missionary, and pastor.
In 2006, he founded the Christ Army of Light Ministries (CALM), an intercessory ministry mobilizing the church in Liberia to pray for revival. He studied at the Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA, where he acquired a Master of Arts in Global Leadership and a Doctorate in Intercultural Studies. ​

In 2019, he accepted a call to serve as Country Director for LeaderSource SGA in Liberia. Before coming to LeaderSource, Dr. Nador served as Liberia Country Director for Ambassadors Football International. In addition to serving with LeaderSource, he also serves as Assistant Pastor at Monrovia Christian Fellowship and is the National Coordinator for the Lausanne Movement Younger Leaders Generation in Liberia.

His passion is to build leaders for God’s mission. He lives with his wife Agnes and two sons in Liberia and enjoys playing chess and soccer.
