THE CHANGEMAKERS'
CONFERENCE

2026

If the next generation is to steer the future forward, we must train them to understand the significance of nation-building. Therefore, through our Changemakers’ Conference, we work with youth-oriented organizations and provide them with training and resources that foster better leadership and self-sustainability. This helps them align their visions with rebuilding a "whole" Liberia.

The Changemakers' Conference is a three-day event for youth-led nonprofits and community-based organizations selected through a vigorous application process. The conference occurs biannually, and this year's event runs from May 29th to May 31st, hosting 15 youth-led organizations at the A.M. Kyne Conference Hall, 12th Street, Sinkor. (Please note that the dates and venue are subject to change by the organizer.)

Participants will benefit from several training sessions, including Grant Writing, Building Inclusive Communities, Conflict Management, and Professionalism in the Workplace, facilitated by Project Change and notable local and international guest speakers. Additionally, participants will partake in the National Vision Plan Competition (NVPC) during the conference.

The NVPC challenges participants to propose a project or program to a panel of judges and stand a chance to win microgrants. The judges then select three projects based on the proposal guidelines and award microgrants to fund them. The grants are intended to empower the organizations to implement their projects and positively impact the lives of their beneficiaries.
